Forward

+ Forward takes the lyrics of Joy Division’s Ian Curtis and applies them to images of the Holocaust. It got its name from the strength and persistence of the Jewish people to move forward from the horrible situations they had faced during the war. There is no direct connection between the lyrics and the unfortunate period in history. The application of the lyrics serve as support to the imagery to give them a voice. In no way was this book made to make a mockery of the Holocaust in anyway. Apologies to anyone that may misconstrue the pairing of the lyrical content to the images.
